Can someone advise how to remove the temperature switch from the rad. The switch controls the operation of the electric fan. It looks like it just pops out, if so is it sitting in coolant or in a space isolated from the coolant...
ie. do i need to drain the rad down before I pop it out??
I have a new one and the rubber grommet. Thanks in advance.

      With a little bit of twisty turny action and the help from a robo grip I managed to get mine out a little at a time. It does sit in some coolant but I never drained the system when I did mine. A little coolant was lost, I merely refilled the resevoir at the completion of the project and I was as good as a million bucks.
      If you take my advice and your engine blows up please don't blame me :) heheh
