help , im try to install a volvo cd changer in my wagon, the prewired cable is there (right side well) but i have no idea where to hook up the powers wires, i do have the rear seat in,

I figured i had better see if anyone knows b4 i tear the back apart

On my '93 945t, the CD changer wire harness plugs into the power antenna assembly, in the driver's side compartment in the cargo area. Dunno if this is set up the same on a 965, but take a look. In my case, there were 2 or 3 connectors that need to mate up. If it looks to you like it should connect this way, but you can't figure it out, let me know and I'll take a couple pics of my setup tonight.

From what I've seen these two components are in opposite corners of the wagon.

Ah, my bad... missed the (right side well) part. In my rig, the changer is in the center of the middle storage compartment... the wire harness is plenty long to reach from there to the far left-rear, where the antenna is.

The '95 wiring diagram shows power from the radio, through connector A43 (one green/grey wire (+12V) and one black (ground) wire). The connector is on the left side of the centre console (remove the kick pnel for access). I suspect the wire from A43 to the rear cubby hole is preinstalled but I have never noticed it (don't have a changer and never looked for this wire

Sheesh...I wish I could help but even my CD-ROM tech manual has nothing in it on accessories. I've always presumed that all the wirng was there that was needed. Others have installed one, so hopefully you will get an anser
