ok, there's a drain on my car that renders it absolutly useless and nothing more than a beautiful sight to stare at :), so anyways, there is a 3amp draw on the 8th fuse (lamps,clock,radio,and some other stuff). If anyone has any ideas on what might be happening, please give your advice

    Matt,

    Try removing the kick panel on that side of the car. Then you will see that there are wires plugged into the side of the fuse bar. You may be able to figure out what circuit is not working so that you can isolate the current draw. If it is something that you can live without you could disconnect it and fix it when you have time.

      NEVER! i shall never part with this beauty! until it just gives me a whole world of problems, then i'll part it out, and use it at the Rochester fair demolition derby. but that's not going to be for like 5 more years or so. so in the meantime, i need help with getting her running!

    fuse #8 opperates the central lock & the under hood light & the trunk light.

    My car has a problem with the central lock system, when I lock the doors the lock system clicks untill the battery dies.This is fuse #8 so I just dont lock the doors.

    The trunk light has a switch that turns it on, maybe it is on.I drained a battery with this light on,when I thought it would shut off after I closed the trunk. It did not, and a dead battery left me charging. Or should I say charged.

    Fuse #8 also is the glove box light,is the glove box light on?
