Car Pulls -- Tire Problem 700

I switched from winter to summer tires a few weeks ago (each set has its own set of rims). The car immediately began pulling to the right. So I swopped front tires, and the car began pulling to the left -- so I know it's a tire problem. My question is: What's the problem? Is it a balance issue? (there's no vibration)

Thanks in advance.

You have a tire with "broken belts." By process of elimination (i.e. moving front tires to rear), you can determine the bad tire. If your other tires are ok, then just replace the one tire.

Yeah, I've already moved the tire to the back, and the car tracks straight. These tires are practically brand new. I bought them last summer. I had a problem with one of them immediately, (droned at 50mph) so it was replaced under warrantee. I drove a couple of thousand miles on them, then swtiched to my snow tires. This problem tire was on the rear originally. When I rotated it to the front, I noticed it.
That's what I get for buying Goodyears! (never again!) I guess it's back to the tire shop for another bitching session -- until they give me a new set of tires.

I've had that problem, too! Different rolling resistance between tires, I guess. I asked the tire place about it, (a local Discount Tire) and all they said was, "yea, it happens" I think its a belt problem inside the tire.
A new set of Khumo's solved the problem.
