Found my AC leak...where to i get another hose 93 944T 900 1993

Well i went to recharge my ac and i notice a hissing sound after i put some r134a in.....seems like i just found my leak....its in rubber hose right at a fitting that goes in front of the radiator....so i guess the biggest question is.....how do i get a new hose? Is it a standard item/fittings? How much should this cost me in the end?

One of the things to consider is repairing the hose end. Depending on where the break is, an A/C shop or hose guy can put a new end on the hose and crimp it on, they'll usually guarantee it for a year. If the hose is rotten they'll tell you to go new.

Go OEM, it will fit, you won't like the price, but consider what a shop will charge you. Alternatively, as suggested an AC shop can fab a line for you.

I know FCP Groton has a pretty long list of AC hoses on their site... some genuine parts & some aftermarket. I haven't done any A/C work on my 940, so I can't comment on that aspect, but I just got a box of parts from FCP that I ordered yesterday - sent via UPS (to NYC)... so I think they merit a plug or two.

I have always used genuine Volvo because they do fit. You can also have one made up by a local shop specializing in AC for cars. Much less expensive.
