what is the best way to run cable from radio unit to changer(trunk)

The wiring diagram for the sedan shows the CD changer under the rear deck (just below the centre brake light). The prewiring should be there.

Did you check under the carpet in the trunk I'm pretty sure that your car is completly prewired for the changer. Both the wire to the head unit and the power cable.

I know my 97 V90 is prewired. It's on the passenger side, if that helps.

When I put mine in ('98, S90) I took the door lower sill trim
out and ran it in the wire groove that was there. Took it
under and up the back seat to the trunk.

I have a 940, which should be similar. I ran it down the right side, under the door sill trim. Check out the 700/900 FAQ. Not sure if yours will be different because of dual SRS.
