B23F / B230F engine wiring harness , some components the same? 200

Howdy,

I'm getting a parts car soon, and it has a B23F engine. I have a B230F 240, and my wiring harness is toast, but the parts car has a new one.

It also has a different grind cam.

Questions:

1) can I use the B23F harness on my B230F?
2) what about that cam?

    Rob,
Sorry to say the harnesses are quite a bit different. If the parts car has a different cam it was put in by the previous owner, the B-23 and B-230 both use the "M" cam in the US market. Some B-21s came with the "B" cam which is a nice upgrade to the "M", it was very noticable when I changed the '84 245 over. Most of the other non engine management goodies should switch over just fine however.
