Injectors=easy, you will only need a special socket for the injector (available from Baum Tools or www.etoolcart.com )
Fuel pump = very difficult for the un-initiated
At the very least , you will need a special timing gauge ( about $115 US), a lock pin for the drive gear (about $15, or you can make one from a tightly fitting bolt or socket) and either need to buy a special gear puller to remove the drive gear ( about $65, do not attempt to use a universal gear puller it will break the gear) or once you have the pump bracket off, take the whole assembly to a diesel injection pump shop and have them pop it off ( usually cheap or free depending on how good natured they are ).
If you have owned the vehicle for awhile and are comfortable that the cam timing is correct , you can get by with this with a little finesse.
If not chances are the whole thing needs to be properly timed and all together will require about $500 worth of special tools to accomplish correctly without screwing it up to where it won't run ever again.
You will also need the Volvo green manual for the engine, Chiltons has some stuff in it that is wrong.
Email me if you need more in depth info.
