66 122 wagon on ebay - in Tulsa 120-130 1966

The wagon can be seen at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2413106165

I went down and looked at it today and am prepared to answer SOME questions.
(I may bid on it myself as the body and uphostery are in much better shape than
mine.)
It seems to be pretty accurately described. Original stock engine,
possibly first time around on the odometer.

    Hi George,

Is there any rot on the frame? The Frigiking unit and roof rack are nice additions. Seems like a well treated car. I can't get another one, but hope she gets a good home. Good luck!

    cheers

    ps
I saw this wagon in jersey once. Looked great from 10 feet away. But the frame was so far gone that you'd have trouble just getting it on a flatbed.

I would KILL for that interior. Leather rules! The interior alone is worth $500 to me. If I lived close enough, I'd be bidding against you. If you're actually close enough to look at it, you'd be crazy not to put a $1000 bid in (with esnipe of course) :-)

      George. Second thoughts? 120-130 1966

      Hey George,

I need to get a second set of wheels for my special lady and myself and have been looking for an old 145 or 122 wagon. Me for installations (cabinetmaker), she for field work (grad school biology).

Wondering if you are going to go for this, won't bid against you.

I'm up in Lawrence, Kansas now and old Volvo's are few and far between up here. Really would be good to have nearly identical mechanicals to deal with when it comes time for maintenance. But may have to settle for a 245, which are much more common in this area.

Thanks for the "heads up" in any case.

      -Mario E.
