To All That Responded to My Previous Post on my pre-pump disaster:

I love this Board and the advice and help from EVERYONE that has helped me over the last six months as a new Volvo owner!! I was not irritated with anyone over MY car's wiring anomaly... I just needed further assistance.

I would have been messed around by many mechanics if it was not for this Board. Thanks to all and I will need more help as soon as I can get that blasted pre-pump out!

I too pulled on my "connector" and it broke off, to find it really was not a connector...

I replaced everything in there with new, including the sending unit.

Consider it an opportunity to redo a place of the car that brings issues at this age. Besides, if the pre-pump really was not working you would have eventually killed your main pump, which that alone costs more than everything in the tank. It's a blessing.
