Heater control valve location

Where is the heater control valve ( the one made from the same junk plastic as the radiator that you're supposed to replace with the radiator) located on the 740 with A/C? The FAQ indicate it is under hood unless the car is "heater only" in which case it's in the console inside. If it's under the hood, I'm missing it. Many thanks!

It can be found between the rear of your engine and the firewall. Look below your distributor cap. It is attached to one of your two heater hoses.

It is under the hood on the side of your engine's intake near the firewall. just follow the 2 hoses that come out of your firewall and one of them should lead to the valve.
