Auto Shift Panel Lights 98 S90 S90-V90

There is a small rectangular red light indicator right next to drive modes like P, R, D..and it stays on when the engine is running. However, there is no light on the P,R....it makes the selection of modes to be guessing at night. Do I have a blown bulb or this is just the way it is. Assumed the bulb is bad, what is the color of indicators on P, R.. when they work?? Thanks.

    The indicator units in the 90 series cars seems to be electronic, i.e. no replaceable bulb as in our 95 960, but I'm not completely sure. I suggest contacting a Volvo dealer and talking to them about it. It not that difficult to get at either way.
