Do I need shocks? 700 1989

Is it a safe bet that I need shocks/struts at 105K? I've had mine for 35K and know they've not been replaced at least in that period. My car doesn't seem horrible to me but I'm accustomed to it and have no reference how a good set should perform - maybe it is horrible... The shocks are not leaking.

I was planning on replacing them with sachs advantange. Any feedback about them? The car is primarily driven by my wife, a volvo driving soccer mom, so everyday comfortable ride is the goal.

Thanks for you input!

Probably. About 100k is the most you can expect, although the degradation is vbarely noticeable. Try Boges. For everyday use with a softer ride, try their Pro Gas. Lifetime warranty. For more performance, try the Turbo Gas

Had my car for 35K - not shocks 700 1989

I read my post. Thought I'd clarify. Shocks/strus are probably original.
