Parts car harvest 1800 1973

Hey all,

Usually, I post to the 200 board, but I stripped a 73 ES in Connecticut a few weeks ago to salvage the front crossmember for my worn out one, and I've got a bunch of stuff to sell/give, including:

-perfect black back seats, including the seatbelt setup
-console w/ a broken lock
-gas cap w/ key
-factory radio
-fuel injection computer
-steering wheel w/ cracks
-rebuildable front seats w/ torn upholstery (will not ship)

Email me if you need any of this stuff.

Jake F

I'd be interested in a RF fender.n at least the front part of it. But it would be a royal pain to take off and expensive to ship. I'll probably have to look for something local. Of think harder about how to uncrumple mine.

i no longer have the body of the car, so i couldn't have done it anyway, but i'll post again if i get another parts car. you specifically need the fender for an ES?

I guess 'RF' was a little vague - I meant right front. They would be the same on an E or ES.

I don't really need anything off that...but... If you havn't already got 'em, I would DEFINITELY grab that rear end (will fit a 122 sedan, which gives disc brakes and limited slip options), and I'd also get the gas tank and any injection bits...

And of course, anything else exclusive to the ES...rear side windows, light fixtures...etc.

sadly, the rear end's gone, and with it the gas tank.

i'm keeping the stuff you mentioned ... rear glass, light fixtures, injectors.

anything else?

Well...sounds like you've got a good idea as to what to grab.... Of course, don't leave any other electical stuff... switches/gauges. Interior/exterior trim...

Best probably just to be sure to send only the body shell. Unless you've got a sawzall... then you could grab some sheetmetal too if its worth saving...

yeah, i've got the entire dash, and various electrical items, etc. [i emailed you privately]

i pulled the entire front end, and the subframe (front crossmember) is being prepped to replace my own.

i'm really bummed i didn't post while the car was in my buddy's shop - only over one weekend - cuz it went to the crusher as a shell - no wheels - but w/ the rear end and gas tank (seemed crappy) still on.

i didn't know guys like you would salvage that stuff. there's always next time ... for instance, there's an 1800 sedan w/ a crumpled front end near the shop that i could procure for your needs. do you want me to pursue?

i have the rear seatbelts - they're perfect. what exactly do you mean by latch for rear window? the hatchback window? the little locking latch? if so, let me see what kind of shape it's in ... i left it on the window figuring if i ever had the misfortune of having mine broken it'd be my backup. but, i may be able to spare that latch.

I have an 1800E in Monson, MA and might be interested in center console and front seats. How much do you want for them? Where are you located? Please EMAIL me at lawunion@aol.com
