Self made chassis brace 700

A few months ago John Sargent had a post with pics showing some homemade chassis braces. I tried to search for them but must not have been getting the right word in the search engine. If anyone could point me to these or if John could repost i would really appreciate it thanks.

    Steve has incorporated that information into the 700/900 FAQ. Go to the 700/900 FAQ and go to Front Suspension, and then to Chassis Braces.

      Did you have to drill holes into the shock towers to install your homemade version? Have you and your son ever considered selling home made chassis braces on the BB ?

        The chassis braces fit under the two threaded studs which also secure the top of the strut to the chassis. Evan will be home from college about May 18th. He may be interested in making some then. His e-mail address is evan_sargent@hotmail.com. One of his strut tower braces is on his mother's car, and he will be finishing the strut tower brace for his car in May.

          He should make a few and advertise them on the BB. If he charges less than IPD he would probably sell a few(or more?) here.
