Lower Control Arm 200 1991

I need to replace the right side lower control arm on my 1991 240. Can anyone tell me if all 240 control arms are the same? I want to get one from a junkyard but may have trouble finding the exact same year. Thanks

Hi,
Any year 240 series will fit. From 75-93. I would get a used one. There is
nothing wrong with getting a used control arm. They don't bend under use.
Just be observant and be sure to get one that doesn't have any impact damage. They do not bend easily in my opinion. One from an 89 and newer car probably has a bit better rust protection paint but they are all the same. Wish you well.

Tom,

Condsider a new Control Arm seriously. Like Rob says, they are fairly inexpensive and can distort with minor impact. It's hard to tell when a used one is slightly tweaked, until you find alignment problems later. By the time you put the new bushings and ball joints the used arm, it would be a shame to have to redo it due to a bad used arm.

They're all the same, and they are available new if you want-
FCP Groton lists them here:

It is pretty easy to bend one, they're just made of heavy gauge sheetmetal.

Tom,
I think anything from 1986-1993(sedan or wagon) will work on your ride...
