finally sold my 2 dr.120! 120-130

It sure can take awhile to sell these puppies. The car originally was for sale for $2,000 CDN. A buyer bought it last Dec site unseen, (pics only) for $1750. When he came to town last weekend he decided it wasn,t the car for him. I kept his $500 deposit and reposted the car for $1250 (Definatly a steal at this point). And low and behold a true Volvo afficianado (freak like me) came by and bought it today. It was nice to sell it to someone who already had experience with old volvos and general mechanical abilities, this way I won't be getting phone calls in the middle of the night saying "the car won't start, I left the lights on all night and now the @#$!%?&* car won't start! Come over and fix it for me!!". Anyhow now I have time to work on my wagon and a way to justify getting a pro to paint it. Just blabbing here... Ciao, Patrick.

Actually, I like to work my cars a bit. Long trips, maybe even sub for my work car with it, I do residential restoration/remodeling for a living and I thought a 220 would go well with that. Also at the time I bought the 220 I had 3 dogs and a baby as well as my darling to transport, and neither the baby or my girlfriend wanted to ride on the roof/trunk(?). Plus what Shayne said.

"Wagons are infinitely cooler than sedans and attract many, many more chicks."
Some brilliant person posted that here years ago, I thought it so funny, I've never forgotten it.

Personally I like the straight cut of the wagon as it sweeps towards the back.
The only thing I might consider modifying on the outside are putting on some thinner chrome bumpers: XKE type that wrap around and thin to a point for the back. And something similar for the front.

        Any ideas?

        cheers

If you don't have an 1800ES, get one! Bumpers already thinned and pointed, front and back.
Some law of thermodynamics probably suggests that you have room for another classic volvo now anyway.
          ;^)
