CD player S90-V90 1998

My stock Volvo CD player just refuses to work. I was playing a Santana CD for the last few days when low and behold when I started the car and ejected it to put in another the player wouldn't let me put another CD in. I can gently push it in but it won't suck it in. Then when I push it in the units ejects it after about 5 seconds. Has anybody had this happen before? Maybe it doesn't like Santana.

i have same problem, but only during summer when it is getting hot, i guess some transister gets overheated.2-3 times a week i have to pull out the unit, open up top cover, remove CD unit out of whole radio,let it cool off and then put everything back together.if u find another way,let me know.
