Weird Stalling 200 1989

Hi posted earlier but can't seem to find it,

My car randomly stalls, i can usually tell the day its going to stall, its a hard crank, hear the starter for a while before the engine kicks in, and when it does kick in, feel it struggle to warm up,

So I tried what Eric-S said about Air Mass Meter ( i told my mechanic, he said its fine)

Any other suggestions, also asked my mechanic to check the carbeurator..said it was fine, I think Aye-Roll said something about the throttle..what about it couldn't really explain to my mechanic..

Love my car, any suggestions welcomed

Cleaning the Throttle Body is the most common cause for that iregular stalling problem. Also check the 25 amp fuse that is under the hood on the drivers side fender. That fuse is for the Fuel Pumps..when the connection between the fuse and Fuse Holder gets crapped up it will not give full current to the Fuel Pumps.
This is also a common Volvo problem.

I don't know where you live and I am not that familiar with Volvos produced for places outside the US, but if you are in the US you don't have a carburetor- your car is fuel injected, so if your mechanic said your carburetor is fine you need a new mechanic.

Perhaps the suggestion you refer to was to have the throttle body cleaned. It is a good suggestion and one you should pursue, but not with your current mechanic.
