What size exhaust manifold studs/bolts 900

Anyone here know the size of the exhaust manifold bolts and studs? Volvo wants an insane amount and if i can get the same thing cheaper at my local NAPA or wherever I'd love to do it...i can't mail order since i'm doing it this weekend.

A word of caution Alchemist....

I just removed the headpipes from our 98 S90 with 64,000 miles to replace the PNP sensor and the nuts holding the head pipes to the exhaust manifold weren't even rusty. They came off fine and went back on fine. I guess all I'm saying is..... these are not dime store nuts and bolts that Volvo put on the car. They seem to hold up to high heat, road splash and don't corrode.

I'll be doing the same (PNP) on our 95 960 with 148,000 miles and I hope the nuts/bolts are in the same shape.

I don't know where you're located, (I'm in Maine) but I got mine from FCP Groton and when they ship parts to me via UPS Ground (3-day) I usually get them overnight, and always within 2-days.

It's an M8 thread, so measure the length and get the generic part. Or just pull an old one and take it with you.

Wouldn't the mailorder places be able to overnight it to you?

The reason i dont want to do mail order is that i'm not sure that i'm going to be doing the job or not. IE if it looks too difficult i wont be able to do it myself, but wont know till i see my brother in law this weekend.

I would think that if you decided it was more than you wanted to tackle on your own, you could bring the studs with you to the repair shop and explain why you have them. I can't imaging them giving you any static for a few dollars in parts. (in fact, they'd probably prefer because they wouldn't have to take the time to order them.)
