I'm thinking about buying two front seats from a thrird party. Neither of us knows the shipping weight, or the best way to ship these.

Anybody know how much a seat weighs? Best way to ship???

A complete front seat is around 30 pounds. Power seats are heavier. I would lay them completely flat, and remove the headrests to make it a more compact package. Then a shipping box can be found to fit, probably about 4 ft long X 2 ft wide X 8 inches deep. Might want to remove the seat tracks so that there's nothing poking out the bottom. Ship each seat separate.
Those "Shipping Depot" type places can usually box up just about anything. We had one called "Mailboxes Etc." that did this, you just brought your odd-shaped whatever in, and they found a box for it.
