best 240 repair manuals?- 84 diesel 200

love my diesel, runs great, 10k added since purchase in september.
Have paid no attention to engine except oil/ filter changes.
Spent the last two afternoons after work degreasing the engine compartment in anticipation of some future repair job.. I figured it would easier to fix a breakdown if i had a precleaned engine to work on.
Now i need a manual for the 240 diesel engine the d24.
What is best basic manual for me?
All of the sudden i am pqnicky about not having a manual for the diesel.
Which is best?
I looked at the index of the chilton manual( on Amazon), and saw no listing of the diesel engine...

Any suggestions?

    Have a look at the Volvo Service manuals. www.volvocars.com/lit, or else call Ken Cook Publishers at 1-800-25-VOLVO. Order just the manuals you need, but get the Wiring Diagram book for your car anyway. It is invaluable, and not repeated in any of the others.
