I just sold a third seat for a 240 wagon. Does anyone have the installation instructions? If so, please let me know. I'd like to include them with the seat when I ship to the buyer. Thanks. Julie

When I swapped a third seat from my 1983 245GL into a 1982 245DL (in exchange for $200) I had obtained the instructions from a buddy in the dealer parts department, and the current year was 1993. Unfortunately I let the seat buyer have the instructions.

BUT - they do exist. The seat was offered by Volvo as a dealer-installed accessory. Some pack rat in a dealer parts department might have a set. Visit a dealer that's been in business many years, and use all the feminine wiles you can (assuming the parts clerk is male) Or, you might try calling Volvo Cars of North America and pleading your case.

Using the latter technique, I was able to get the instructions of installing an overdrive into a 1983 245GL. Took a lot of phone calls and patience and 2 months, but I still have them now - never again will I give away something like that, only the copies thereof.
