Scan Tech Parts (outer tie-rods, radiator hoses, ...) 900

It seems like ST make some parts okay, and other parts hould be avoided like the plague.

Has anybody had experience with outer tie-rods for a 940?

How about upper and lower radiator hoses?

How about Slide pins/boots/springs for front calipers?

I just ordered two ST ball joints from FCP Groton yesterday. Will let you know my opinion after I install them.

Mackay hoses (or whatever) are the same thing that the Carquest truck would deliver to a shop. They're fine.

Don't know what Scan Tech is shipping for balljoints or tie rod ends. Probably German ones. I have a few sitting around to use one day. The German ones, I mean.

Local parts stores here sell TRW brand suspension parts. Seem to work well.

I use ST brake hardware kits with no problems. Install new when doing new pads or rotors (about every two years)

Hoses these days are coming from Australia. McKay brand, I think. Seem OK.

The outer tie rod ends for all these cars are the same- they aren't a significant problem with anyone's brand.
    Haven't seen ST's hoses.
I would spend the $$ for the Volvo caliper slide kit if you can't get yours freed up. These things are troublesome enough. I don't see much point in trying to save money on these.
