Headlights/Dash flicker 200 1987

I have an 87 240 and it just started doing something weird this weekend. The headlights and dashboard lights were flickering as I was driving on Friday night. On Saturday, I changed all the fuses and this did not correct the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing this?

check to see if yiour headlight switch is starting to come apart on the back, where the wires connect. if so you need a new switch, very easy repair.

Check the little red wire that connects to the + of the alternator... 200 1987

it has a tendancy to rip off from the connector, hence will cause the dash light to flicker.
