Cleaning corrosion from electrical connectors.

Whats the best way to clean and protect the connectors. Are there any good spray on type products?

Ive always used sandpaper, emory cloth etc. Im just wondering if there is a more"high tech" solution?

Don't use abrasives. Far better is a spray can of "DeOxIt" electrical deoxidizer and protector from Caig Labs. Use this, then protect with silicone dielectric paste on any circuit operating above about five volts (i.e., not your O2 sensor.) That's all you need.
