B230FT - No a/c alternator mounting 700

I would like to eliminate the non-functional a/c on my 745T.

How is the alternator mounted on non-US, non-a/c cars? Pictures & part numbers appreciated.

I'd be surprised to hear there were any 745Ts sold in any market sans A/C, at least in the later models. However, I'm fairly certain the mounting points for the B230FT block were identical to any of the B21/23/230 family. That said, the earlier 240s that I worked on always had the alternator where your power steering pump is located, so unless it was changed in later 240s (which are still likely to have A/C) I wouldn't hold out much hope for an alternate alternator bracket. I'd cut off the A/C belt and remove the compressor. The alternator is just fine where it is.

    My two cents-
    Dylan

Since the AC compressor is driven by its own belt, separately of the water and PS pumps, why don't you just disconnect the belt and toss the compressor? See you on the bricklist.
