B20-M46 bellhousing? 120-130

Hey, what year did volvo produce the 240 with a b20 mated to the m45/6 transmission. I am looking for that bellhousing for my project....
Thanks,
Josh

A B20 bellhouse is not needed. Look at this place http://www.knutselsmurf.web1000.com/amazonproject1.html

What type of bellhousing is that then? A B20/M41 housing modified to fit an M46?

No, just a bellhouse of a B21 or B23. The M46 is rotated a view degrees, but that is not a problem.

Ahh - I see. Err - I mean I didn't see that in the picture of the engine and tranny bolted together. I guess the stick comes out slightly to the side, but not much of an issue since you are repacing the tunnel anyway.

It's more obvious in this pic:

Very late production in the '75 model year, and only for the North American market.

Euro '75s had B21 motors. Earlier NA '75s had M40/41 trannies.

The bellhousing you seek is rare as hen's teeth...

The only 240 that had a B20 was 1975 but to the best of my knowledge
they had the older M40 or M41 trannies.

These bellhouses are very expensive - if you can find one, I have seen prices of US$350. Mine was made out of two bellhousings cut in half and welded together, although the result may look a bit ugly, it works well and who cares when its under the car anyway.
You can read about my project:
