Thanks,
Jacob

Congrats! I don't know much about that, but it sounds like a real accomplishment. Originally, I thought you were discussing a Volvo
"Eagle Scout" edition.

1994 Eagle, West Michigan 200

Congrats. I got mine in 1994 through a joint project with the DNR (Department of Natural Resources) in assisting the installation of a handicapped/wheelchair accessable nature trail.

If you ever decide to enlist in the armed forces, your Eagle has just earned you an instant promotion and a step up in salary. (A fellow Eagle from my troop took this route, he served on the USS Nimitz.)

God bless and keep Scouting.

VG430,
I earned mine way back in 1981 - I'm helping my son work towards his in about 2004. All these many years later I still keep Eagle Scout listed on my CV (resume).

Take care and Congrats.

Congrats!!! My two older sons are both Eagles and my youngest son is a few months away from Life and has his sights on Eagle. Most people have no idea how significant this accomplishment is.

Two years ago, we had their Eagle Court of Honor and my oldest son invited a young lady that had no prior exposure to scouting. At the end of the ceremony, her statement to her mother was "when I grow up and get married, if I have sons, they will be Boy Scouts"

Enjoy it and never forsake the values and hard work that got you to Eagle! The ability to stick to a long range plan will serve you well throughout life.

Regards,

Stormie - 1988 240DL, 420,000 miles (original engine, second tranny) and neither of my Eagle Scouts drive Volvos - yet......

Jacob,

Congratulations!! My son Ben just finished his project and has had his first board of review so he is very close to his Eagle as well. I know how much work there is involved- not only for you but for the people who worked with you. I don't think I need to remind you to include the fact that you achieved Eagle on all job applications and resumes. Also be sure to contact your insurance company to see if they give additional discounts to young drivers who are Eagle Scouts. Scouts are cool.

Randy
