Did any '87's have RUST issues?

I know 86 Volvos were not undercoated very well. Did they beef up in 87 or 88? I can't remember. Where are the most common rust spots? Thanks.

240s of any vintage seem to be prone to cabin leaks and floor rust. This is not so evident with 740s.

The undercoating is the same. What differs is the use of dual-coated galvanized steel. They changed over sometime in late 86 or 87.

Thanks Steve

That is the information I was looking for.

My 1987 has absolutely no rust. The tailgate did have a minor problem with the paint adhering to the aluminum though.
