Thanks Rmagoo, I have a white socket on the other side of the car, when I switch them I get the same results?

okay the white socket goes on the right side, looking at the car from the back. if you stil have a light acting up take the bulb out and make sure the socket itself is ok , clean the contacts and kinda pull them out to make them tighter against the flex board. make sure the right side has a good ground, it could be grounding through the power circuit on the bulb socket.also make sure you have 1157 dual filament bulbs in the sockets.the ground wire should have a serrated washer to help it ground against the painted surface.
