Brake Bleeding 200 1983

After replacing all brake components on my '83 240, I am having trouble bleeding the brakes completely, even with a power bleeder. Master cylinder, calipers, rotors, pads and flex lines were all replaced. Usually the pressure system works like a champ. I have heard there is a recommended sequence of bleeding the calipers that even covers which bleeder on the front calipers (inner, outer, top) Does anyone have the exact sequence? Thanks.

Keep in mind it may also take 3-4 bleedings to get things sorted out. Not uncommon after the system has been opened. Don Foster likes to tap on the caliper while bleeding it to loosen tiny air bubbles still clinging to the insides.

    from bentley :

    after master cylinder :
    1 left rear
2 left front - top chamber single bleeder
3 right front top chamber single bleeder
    4 right rear
5 right front - lower chambers two bleeders
6 left front lower chambers two bleeders

I've also been told that when the pressure bleeding doesn't work, like in my case. The old fashioned way is the way to go, and yes several times can be necessary. BTW did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installation.
One more note, this has been discussed pretty thoroughly in the 700/900 FAQS section of the board there may be some good advice there.

Good Luck and patience my good man..
        Chapster out
