Has anyone had any experience with the Nissens aftermarket aluminum-plastic side tank replacement radiators? These mimic the OEM Blackstones, which are of high quality. How does Nissens compare?

I have heard good things about them. My understanding is they are better than Volvo rads, and will last longer with fewer problems. not sure about cost compared to Volvo.

Steve:

No long term experience with the plastic Nissens, but there's one in my daughter's '94 944T right now. Initial build quality seemed high. Been in there over a year with no problems. A/C always on down here and lots of stop and go driving. Seems to do fine.
