Wheel selection for 88 Volvo 240 200

Hey guys me again. What is a good replacement wheel for the factory 88' steel ones with the less than beautiful hub caps? Are the stud spacing standard, anything that I should look for? I am thinking a newer Volvo wheel, I would like to stay with 14" as the tires are brand new. Make for a cheap and easy swap.

There ain't much in the aftermarket for 14" rims nowadays ... the demand is for "the bigger, the better". So if you're trying to make your's look "newer" with better rims, you will have to go bigger.

On the most part, the general aftermarket 14" were from the 80's, falling into styles like the Minilites or basket-weaves.

FWIW, these are 6x14 Riken's on my 144 ... IMHO, it makes the car look less than the 29 years otherwise. They were made in the mid-80's.

-- Kane ... bought 'em at a pick-and-pull junkyard for a gross price of about $20/ea. with *%^$@&! core charges ...

Grab the Virgo rims from 240 Turbos. They are 15" so you are going to have to suck it up on the new tires. But it will be worth it.
