The cloth upholstery on my door panel of my '89 740T is coming off. Does anyone have any recomondations on how to re-attach the cloth the underlying panel? adhesive? tacking? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

3M professional spray upholstery adhesive is THE product to use. It's the stuff they use to attach replacement headliner material. Ask at a car-and-boat upholstery shop if you can't find it.
