Can i use a different condensor? 700

Anyone know if i can use a different condensor on my volvo? I mean its like a glorified radiator right? Do i have to match it for volume or just alter the r134 fill on it, or is this a really really bad idea?

Why use a different condenser? Maybe if you live in Phoenix, this would help; however, besides the charge difference that would need to be figured out or guessed at, a properly running system seems OK. Unfortunately, getting a system that holds a charge on a 10 year old plus car isn't the easiest thing in the world. The only other thing I'd recommend is OEM hardware. Good luck.

If this is an R134a question, make sure it's a bigger condenser, or a crossflow condenser (or whatever they call them) that accomodates R134a better. You can use one. Yes, you might have to alter the amount of refrigerant.
