C0 test point location '86 740 700

Looking for the C0 test point, and IAC ground point on my '86 740.
FAQ said it was next to the computer. A red and white pigtail and a grean and white pigtail. Don't see and such pigtails next to the fuel brain or under the hood. Am I looking in the right place?

Thanks,
'86 740

in my 87 740 2.2lh it is just forward of the coolent resevoir on passenger side. One connector with the two wires in it. If your setting co with led, ground side of led is to pigtail. Much easier to set with a dwell meter, but either way, unless it is going on and off when you hook up, you have to turn the set screw on amm one way or other. Keep going till you see led flash, turn back other direction slightly.(amm screw turns alot ) Rev engine occasionally and let settle. With some time you will get it half on half off. Like I said, alot easier to make the slight lean or rich condition with a dwell//tach meter (20.00 Autozone)
because you can see the needle deflection going either side of even). By the way a great tool is a vacuum gauge if your having rough idle conditions. (24.00 at autozone) Can quickly test hose connections and diaphragms for leaks. I just found a problem that had hounded me for over a year. 90 760 turbo 2.4lh had a leak in the EGR vacumm controller that was activating slightly the egr valve at idle, allowing unmetered air into the intake manifold on the other side of throttle plate. Gauge also comes with brake bleeding attachment.

good luck, any help let me know zapperjoe@cox.net

sometimes the lead ends are behind the harness, you need to feel around and check with your fingers, and youll find its just out of sight.
