Need KJet fuel distributor 200

Cousins:
My '84 245 Turbo is in need of a fuel distributor head. Mine has a shaft that is stuck after too many years standing. I've tried everything but taking it apart, as I understand from the dealer that no gaskets/parts are available.

Anyone have one for a fair price? Trade? Any other advice?

Thanks - Hank

    Need KJet fuel distributor 200

    Hank,

I have had several fuel distributors apart and as long as you are careful, "clean-clean-clean", don't put iny nicks on the plunger, and are organized they are nothing to be feared. I don't remember any gaskets that I had to deal with.

On my 244 Turbo I had to disassemble and clean the fuel distributor as the car had sat for 2-3 years with old gas in it and everything was gummed/varnished up. I tore it down abd scrubbed everything with a toothbrush and Berryman's B-12, lubed all moving parts with Marvel's Mystery Oil, and reassembled. Works fine, last long time!

    Good luck,

    Justin B.
