Hello all, I need to remove a fuel line from the barbed end of a check valve and reuse it. I remember someone here saying you can do this with a heatgun. Do I just heat it up, remove the old valve, keep it hot and install the new valve? Is this stuff O.K. to reuse, and does it form a good seal? Also is this stuff available somewhere, I've oftened wonder what I would do if I screwed one up.

why dont you use a wire wheel and buff off the hard plastic line from both ends and replace it with good quality high pressure fuel hose?
