step on brake, turn signal light comes on? 200 1986

I have this problem when I step on the brake, the right turn signal light on the dash and the foglight bulb turn on. Where can I check for bad wires, or is it something else?

    This definitely sounds like a bad ground in the right tail light. Check the black wire where it's screwed to the body near the light and the condition of the metal fingers in the brake light socket. Sand lightly to remove corrosion.

      Sure enough, right tail light ground was attached to nothing but a piece of rust. Drilled a new hole, fixed problem, thanks Brickboard!
