Car still not running, update. 200 1988

Situation: Changed oil and valve cover gasket, now no start!
http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=614097

Ok so here is an update on my predicament.

I changed the cap and rotor because they were nearly shot, still same problem. I will try unpluging the AMM to see if it starts. I am getting spark and fuel as I can see and smell both of them with the plug out and cranking. The cam seems to be turning because the timing belt moves. Everything I removed or moved during my maintenence was replaced in the correct order as well.

Besides the AMM, I cannot think of anything else to try. I read something about the ignition suppression relay, could this have an effect and where is it located? A sudden No-Start is quite confusing. Bentley doesn't cover too much on this type of situation (at least I haven't found it)and my Volvo Green manuals are limited to just fuel and engine work.

Any more advice is appreciated!
Thanks everyone.

Perhaps redundant, but have you checked the 25 amp fuse and fuse holder which is on the inner fender behind the battery (left side)? I had similar symptoms on my '89 ..and a new fuse and holder did the trick....which I understand is pretty common (but then you wouldn't have spark.so not sure)..good luck
