When a parts list says "right" or "left", say for control arm bushings, or shocks, or anything... which is "driver's side" and which is "passenger side"?

Right and left of the car are as from inside the car facing forward. Regardless of which side is "driver" or "passenger."

Left = Driver
Right= Passanger

Kinda depends on which sides the driver and passenger are, no?
Ozzies could get confused, besides being upside-down, if they were backwards, too.
