creaking door sound when turning 120-130

1964 volvo 122. when i turn the car, moving or not, it sounds like a creeking door i think its the tie rod ends but i can't tell. any ideas?

I'd be checking ball joints...and doing so RIGHT NOW!!!

It sucks to lose a lower ball joint while the car is in motion. If they are dry, they are probably shot, and not even worth greasing... It might not be the ball joints, but they can sound like that, and that is a serious safety hasard for you and anyone else on the road around you...

And, chances are if you don't know when it was last done, its time for a complete front end rebuild. Can probably be done for somewhere around $250-300 for the parts... upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, centerlink ends, all bushings...and maybe a idler bushing (which could also be your problem)
