Radio code, call up or visit a Volvo dealer and they can give you the code which is based on the last 5 or 6 numbers of the 17 digit VIN number. Write down somewhere in your OM.
I had that bulb out light on for a week until I figured out it was the third brake light. I have had problems in the past and was able to fix it by switching around lamps or replacing. The relay has a series of double wound coils that cancel each other out when the lamp amps are equal. Sometimes the lamps have to match in manuf and age to get an equal coil load. If just replacing the lamps don't work try resoldering the relay (check the FAQ) or replace it. I personally like it's functionality. It's challenge keeping this stuff all working. I still can't figure how the BO indicator determined that the 3rd break light was out, introducing a third coil winding
Running lights: As far as I'm concerned it's almost as important as air bags or seat belts. I have noticed a big difference in my daily drive with DRL. Before DRL, every week or two a car used to stop at the last second pulling out from a driveway or intersection because they didn't notice me, like I was stealth. One didn't stop but saw me before it was too late due to the DRL. We both swerved and managed to avoid each other. It would have been my front end into their side, likely injuries in the other car. This has slowed down quite a bit with DRL. I have convinced the wife and my kids without DRL to switch on the lights.
Cheers
