240 fuel tank bung nut removal tool 700

I need to change in-tank fuel pump for volvo 740. Does 240 bung nut removal tool be used against volvo 740? Do they use the same size bung nut?

    The 740 tank unit is a different beast and uses a plastic hand-tightened threaded collar. The 240 bung hole ring can be tapped loose holding something like a large slot screwdriver at an angle and striking with a mallet as your work around the lugs (like opening a stuck jar lid). Use of a screwdriver could in theory cause a spark so a better tool would be a brass drift. This is not a job for a chain smoker.
