Limp door lock 200

For some reason my door lock will not stay up when the door is closed. While open the door is open, the lock will stay up though and when I close the door it simply falls and I have to lift it back up to open the door. Any ideas? Thanks...

there is a small spring on the inner latch mechanism that breaks and will not keep tension. i would replace the whole inner latch,
