I am starting to understand this turbo thing.... a little more everyday. 700 1992

This weekend i am going to replace the exhaust from the downpipe all the way back. The stock cat converter is old and rusty. Looks like the original cat plus there is a big hole in the rear muffler. So all that will be replaced.Magnaflo hi flow cat and Magnaflo muffler 2.5in. all the way back.

How does these items work in relation to Turbo Volvos?

1 Dawes device. What is this and it's function? Should i consider one for my turbo wagon?
2 Boost controller. The same as a Dawes device or something different? Please explain.
3 Calibrated boost gauge. This a device that gives you an actual number/bar to see where the turbo pressure is? If not, please explain.
4 a/f ratio. Please explain this one too.
5 Gvalve?
I just want to reach somewhere around 200-230 Hp on my wagon. That seems good enough for me at this time.

Next is setting up the suspension or should i do this first then the turbo stuff next?
Thanks for all the advice, criticisms, responses.
