1993 940 oil leak 900

I have a 1993 940 non turbo that appears to be leaking oil around the oil filter. I plan to check this out this weekend but wanted to know where the most common source of oil leaks are in this area and how hard are they for the average person to repair?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Check out this section in the FAQ. It'd be my guess that if it looks like the oil filter seal that's leaking, it probably is.

Should not have a filter adapter to have a o-ring prob unless it has an oil cooler wich is unlikely for a non turbo car Ive seen the sending unit leak thru the connection where the wire goes. if not I would bet the front seals and is blowing back at highway speeds.
