CSI to LH 2.4 conversion 200

I have a 88 240 (wrecked) with a good engine and fuel system and I have access to a 82 240 with CSI does any one have any information on a complete engine fuel system swap as far as what may be required? Is this evan Possible? Will the trans mate up? Both are Automatics.

Thanks In advance

Joe

I don't thin kthis is a good idea at all, especially if your time is worth anything. What's wrong with the 1982 240?

I don't think it would be worth the trouble to convert the
fuel injection system over to the electronic stuff. Volvo went
to electronic only in markets where they were forced to for
smog reasons. In the rest of the world they stuck with k-jet
for lots longer than in north america.

It may be much more straight-forward to just swap blocks
so you get a bit more displacement.

Id do it I have done several and you dont even need to change the block or head if you dont want just the intake and exhaust if yours dont have O2 sensor port man its a cake walk all the computers bolt up and once you get the harness out of the new car all you have to add in is about 2-3 wires on the fuse box just note where you took them it can be done in about 5 hours if you dont wish to change motors or head leave the csi injectors in their holes to stop vaccum leak and make sure you get the dist. changed aswell do it man if any Questions mail me roniew1975@aol.com
