Anyone had any experience with the newest Nissen "high efficiency aluminum plastic fiberglass reinforced tanks with greater cooling than the 3 row all metal" offered by many of the on-line parts stores? Many of these sites offer 4 different radiators. I know the all metal is the tried and true, just curious about the "newest".

Yes, I have installed one in my turbo. It definitely cools the motor better.
I replaced a Nissens 3 core metal with the Nissens aluminum/plastic radiator. My temp gauge reads about an 1/8 lower than using the metal radiator. This is with the same thermostat. I use 82 degree thermostats. Another benefit of
the aluminum and plastic is weight. That 3 core metal radiator is a heavy
sucker. Bought mine from FCP Groton.
    Happy rolling.

Thanks for the response. I looked at Groton's site; what is the part no. for that particular radiator? They don't seems to define what the differences are like the other parts sites I've looked at.
      Thanks

Your welcome, the part number on the website is:8601127AL Nissen's two row
aluminum/plastic tanks for $150. I use the 82 degree thermostat. Be sure
to use a phosphate and silicate free antifreeze.
